This healthcare branding example stands out and conveys a warmer personality that will catch the attention of users allowing Alan to stand out in the healthcare marketplace.</p>

<p>The COVID-19 pandemic has been rough on the job market. According to <span style="color: #0000ff;"><a style="color: #0000ff;" href="https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/jul/31/uk-coronavirus-job-losses-the-latest-data-on-redundancies-and-furloughs" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">The Guardian</a>,</span> tens of thousands of people have been made redundant and many companies facing financial struggle have implemented hiring freezes. This has created an increase in competition for the available positions. Unfortunately, those who may have been hit the hardest are university graduates. Entering the world of work when you have little to no experience is difficult; even more so during a global pandemic. However, unlike most companies, ClearBrand are actively looking to support local students and graduates with a graphic design or digital marketing internship.</p>

<h2>About the Graphic Design and Digital Marketing Internships</h2>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>ClearBrand currently have two internship schemes available: Digital Marketing and Graphic Design. Aiming to support local talent within 30 miles of Reading (where the office is based), the internships begin at the start of each month and provide invaluable, entry-level experience. The internships are ideal for students and graduates who are struggling to find opportunities during the coronavirus pandemic.</p>
<p>Take me, for example. I’m currently working as a Digital Marketing Intern after six months of unemployment. My graduate role contract came to an end in March, just a few weeks before national lockdown (unfortunate timing, I know!). Since then I have struggled to secure that coveted junior or entry-level role. After feedback from job rejections, I realised I could benefit by gaining more experience in the areas of digital marketing that I was lacking. And so, I joined ClearBrand as a Digital Marketing Intern.</p>
<p>The internships have a combination of support and teaching alongside independent work on projects. Following tutorials on a set list of relevant modules, the internship begins with a focus on learning essential skills, before tackling set tasks to put your knowledge into practice. As the weeks progress, interns will then create work for clients. Additionally, the internships are flexible with the option to work from home, should the COVID-19 pandemic worsen.</p>
<p>The lack of relevant job openings combined with numerous application rejections can easily decrease the motivation to find a job. However, after six months locked down at home, getting back into the working routine at ClearBrand has given me the much-needed encouragement to get back into the job hunt, now armed with new knowledge and experience.</p>

In addition, having a recognisable brand helps audiences connect and understand messages. Audiences remember messages that are attached with a brand logo, name, colours and slogan.</p>

<p>While internally the brand shows the identity of the organisation, the mission, values and activities. And externally the brand reflects the image in stakeholder’s minds about the organisation. The non-profits brand identity acts as a bridge. This closes the communication gap between the organisation’s goals, donors, volunteers, government and beneficiaries.</p>

<p>A brand gives an organisation a reputation, responsibilities and opportunities. These opportunities include being able to connect with people on social media. This helps the brand reach wider audiences all over the world to share their message. In addition, there could the opportunity to have a branding launch or event for a branding campaign. These events help raise awareness and increase support for a non-profit organisation and help their cause. Also, if a brand has a strong, positive reputation, this increases trust as well as donations.<strong> </strong></p>
<h3><strong>Brands have consistency</strong></h3>
<p>Brands link experience and strategy together. They create experiences for audiences to actively engage with. A brand helps the non-profits to continue to express why they matter and gives meaning. It helps the organisation to remain relevant, gain attention and recognition. Also, by having an understanding of their audience’s motivations, brands can adapt their strategy and messaging. This helps to gain trust and loyalty. As well as, having consistent brand guidelines across communication channels builds trust.</p>
<h3><strong>Non-profit branding helps fundraising</strong></h3>
<p>Brands use messages, logos, colours and images to create an emotional response. These features can help brands connect on an emotional level with their audiences. Connecting on this level can positively impact on their fundraising efforts and raise more money.</p>
<p>The role of branding is important, especially in the non-profit sector. Branding could be seen as more important for them because they call for people to invest their time and money in a less tangible cause.</p>
